Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

PixelPost is a pretty decent photoblogging software, but the last version went out in Sept 2009 and development has been seized./

I googled for more recent reviews of other blogging platforms, but didn't find anything relevant. I'm interested to hear recommendations for alternatives. As far as I know, Wordpress is not well suited for photoblogging and while I suppose it could be used, I'm looking for better options.

Thanks in advance.

Tumblr is great for photo blogging, as is Posterous. They are both micro-blogging platforms developed to allow easy posting of media files, including photos. You can post from the website, email or phone.
