I would like to record my spending in order to do some budgeting. Many webapps pull charges from your bank history, but unfortunately I cannot commit to always using a card instead of cash and I tend to lose my receipts. Is there an app which will let me text how much I've spent and what I've spent it on and record this information alongside my bank history?

I would just use Gmail. Set up a filter to sort out texts from your cell phone then you can manually add up the totals or use a script to total them up. |

Finance41.com lets you send spending via email at add@finance41.com: https://finance41.com/blog/enter-transactions-on-the-go/ Unfotunately, it does not pull charges from your bank history. |
