How can you add the following URL as an RSS feed to your iGoogle?

http://docs.google.com/feeds/example@gmail.com/private/full?alt=rss&v=3

Google Docs uses the following URL in setting up their RSS feeds. Their iGoogle does not however understand the URL.

Other RSS services like Opera's Mail and Netvibes understand the URL. This suggests me that this is a bug in iGoogle's parsing of the feed.

iGoogle's default RSS program does not allow one to see the URL. I am using "Slim RSS Reader" such that the URL can be modified.

What would you change in the URL to make the reader comprehend it?

I want to know how to:

  1. Make a URL more obvious to human that it is a RSS feed; and
  2. Get iGoogle to add the URL/RSS feed successfully

To whoever downvoted: This is a perfectly valid question, but just asked a bit unclearly. Masi: So, what exactly are you asking? Do you want to know how to make a URL more obvious to human that it is a RSS feed, or are you trying to figure out how to get iGoogle to add it? – joshhunt Oct 25 '09 at 14:36
