I am looking for an online version of Microsoft Visio-- one that allows me to draw and share my flowchart easily. I know google docs has limited ability to draw diagrams, but I want something more sophisticated.

I am also looking for a web application that allows me to do web page prototyping-- something akin to online version of the Firefox plugin Pencil. I want to be able to collaborate with my co-workers real time on web-app mockups.

Any idea?

Gliffy is a great online version of Visio. Have heard a lot of good things about it.

In regard to mockups, Balsamiq rocks socks. I don't see any online collaboration for it, but it is really great for collaborating in the same room.

You might want to peek at Microsoft's Sketchflow for doing prototypes and general diagramming.

Seems like this might happen a lot.

There's also Diagramly if you don't want to have to login or use Flash based software.

WireframeSketcher is another wireframing and prototyping tool that you may find useful. It can be used as a standalone application or as a plugin for Eclipse IDEs. You can collaborate with your team via version control, using plugins like eGit, Subclipse and others.

LucidChart is a nice online alternative to Visio. Unlike many of the other apps that are listed here which I've also tried, LucidChart has real-time collaboration.

With LucidChart, you can do flowcharts, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, etc. It also supports importing Visio files if you need to transition over old work.
