Sites like Netflix and Twitter have public APIs that have let people work with those sites using other sites or locally installed applications.

Since Craig's List is a rather ugly (well, to me) and 1998-ish user experience, are there any applications that put a better face onto Craig's List?

@Everett What a subtle distinction. So if want to ask a Twitter question involving TweetDeck, it's Super User and if it is via the web pages, it is here? It's unlikely to get followed. – MatthewMartin Jul 2 '10 at 14:08

Since you just want a better skin for craigslist, try looking at external stylesheets. If there's some extra functionality you need, you could also look at external scripts.

Try also iMacros for automating routine task on Craigslist (and any other web app)
