There are browser add-ons like Internote Firefox Add-on that save personal sticky notes for web pages in a local file. Is there one that extends the browser Send Link to pass my notes for a page with a corresponding feature that allows the recipient to import the note I sent.

Diigo has the option to share any links you have bookmarked (its a delicious type service), which include any sticky notes and hilights you have with the page. Here's an example of a shared page (yes it points to my blog...) and a sticky note and hilighting that it attached. The notes can be public or private. Edit: It looks like you have to have a Pro level account or higher in order to have public sticky notes, but it may be worth the cost if it fits your needs. |
