My blacklist is ever-growing due to the inflexible behaviour of my mail provider to only add individual email addresses to the blacklist with a single click while to block a whole server I have to manually modify the blacklist to include wildcards.

Is there a tool to sort my blacklist (pure text file) by servers, counting the server occurrences and maybe even offering a mechanism to create some sophisticated wildcards automatically?

Is this for a web e-mail system such as GMail or for an e-mail client such as Thunderbird? – ChrisF♦ Feb 14 '11 at 15:11
@ChrisF♦: the former. Although most of the time I use thunderbird, the junk filter of which does a great job filtering out what spam remains, I'd still prefer an efficient pre-filter, especially for those moments when I'm not using tbird... – Tobias Kienzler Feb 14 '11 at 15:50
