When I enable Google 2-step verification, FeedDemon sync with Google Reader fails.

FeedDemon reports the following error:

FeedDemon was unable to login to your Google account. Please check that you entered the correct user name and password.
(Status 403)

In the Manage application-specific passwords I can not find where to update the settings for FeedDemon.

How do I get FeedDemon to complete the 2-step verification process with Google Reader?

I understand wrong, Application-specific passwords can be used in any of the Application (does not support the verification code), and not only support a few examples of that.I need to delete this problem? – iian Feb 20 '11 at 5:27

As you have figured out yourself if you use 2-step verification in a non browser setting (basicly any place where Google can not provide you with a field to enter your verification code) then you have the option to generate for each application and web service that accesses your Google account a separate password. The application names on the settings page are only examples. Think of this as a poor man's OATH for web services that access your Google account but do not support OATH.

For feeddemon I create a new application-specific passwords, feeddemon can be used now. But I found another question, firefox's addons Gmail Manager unable to use google account's password, because my mobile phone will receive a verification code.Gmail Manager does not support it. – iian Feb 20 '11 at 12:38
Did you try to create a different application-specific passwords for Gmail Manager? You should only receive the verification code if you (or maybe Gmail Manager) tries to log in through the web interface with your old password. – Andris Feb 20 '11 at 16:41
