I either way a site or a software package i can use on my own site (more preferred).

What i like to do is have a user register with his email and offer the below. It will be used as a sort of survey except its more like the 'like' button on youtube or facebook as most of these can be left empty.

  • Name (required)
  • Email (required)
  • Option to show his name or to be anonymous
  • A dropdown or checkbox to select/deselect
  • Comment area
  • Option to show this comment publicly

and a way to remove his opinion/data/email from the system

My title is bad, it throws you off. I meant i want to have a survey and read peoples opinions BUT ALSO present their answers to others. These answers are good for my title so i'll leave everything as is. Keep it coming. – acidzombie24 Feb 25 '11 at 22:59

Google Moderator might suits you:

Interesting but i cant use it. The major problem is it requires EVERYONE to have a google account which they may not have or want to go through the trouble of making (it requires you to input your home or cell number). The other problem is i am not asking the questions which is not want i wanted – acidzombie24 Feb 25 '11 at 0:14

There's always good ol' GetSatisfaction, but in general I think you can modify existing Q&A software quite easily to acheive what you are looking for.

If you want to run your own portal on your own server though, try (Python): http://www.osqa.net/

There's a PHP one too: question2answer.org

Also look into this one for a C# version similar to StackOverflow and StackExchange: http://code.google.com/p/stacked/

There are lot of comment widgets available which you can add directly to your blog/website/post.
