Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have been using feedburner for a while now, and I recently switched it from an RSS to an Atom endpoint. When I subscribe directly to my feed (http://johncoder.com/feed) everything looks good. It's in the correct order, etc. When I look at the feedburner page (http://feeds.feedburner.com/johncoder), everything looks good there too. Then, whenever I subscribe to the feedburner feed in google reader, all of the posts are in the wrong order. Is there something in the feed that's incorrect, and causing this behavior?

I have also tested the feedburner feed by subscribing in Internet Explorer and Outlook 2010, both of which display the feed entries in the correct order.

Have you looked a the sort order setting in Google reader?

It might be set to 'Sort by magic' rendering the reading order different then expected.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! I tried all of the sorting options, no luck. –  John Nelson Mar 11 '11 at 15:48
