Curious if it's possible via a 3rd party app (via API) to extend the abilities of Google Calendar's Quick Add feature (http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=36604)

Ideally, I'd like to be able to specify a reminder time in the quick add entry.

This has been touched on in the Google Calendar Support forum, but so far hasn't had any traction. Since it's unlikely that Google will add this soon, I'm curious if there are any other apps/utilities (such as Alfred) out there that will do this.

Do you want to add custom reminders for each quick add entry? e.g 10 mins for one, 30 mins for another one. If not, you can automatically set reminders for any Calendar event. – Barry♦ Apr 19 '11 at 18:53
