Most people know about http://kickstarter.com/, and I've also come across rockethub.com and invested.in. I'm worried my project is too techie for kickstarter and rockethub, and invested.in does not appear to have generated very much funding yet. Are there other sites that assist with non-venture startup funding (I would like to avoid angel/VC funding as long as possible)?

@Jed I understand that you are unable to comment due to your reputation. But please do not use the Answer section as a way to promote your products. You can definitely answer with the pros/cons of your product as long as it phrased as an answer that is useful to the question. You should add this your biography on your profile.
