Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for a web based framework that will allow the easy creation of input forms and then processing and output of results in formats like graphs (histograms, scatter plots etc.). The input data would be things like dimensions, numbers etc. I'd need it to process the data and do some basic maths and then automatically generate graphs etc. displaying relationships between different pieces of data and calculations etc. I'd also like this to be ideally really easy to pick up with a graphical interface and very little coding. Is there anything out there that might suit my needs?

Google Spreadsheet is not enough for you, I assume? –  neo Aug 11 '11 at 10:02

It's probably an option, but is currently my worst case, although it might just be because I don't understand enough about Google Spreadsheets. I'm looking for things like having logins, having the ability to log who input which bit of data, all users able to see the outputs etc. I have since found it seems reasonably easy to use Mathplotlib with Django so that might be an option although I was hoping not to have to use something as complex as Django. –  Ian Turner Aug 11 '11 at 10:08
