Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Problem: I want to receive updates when there are new search results from a certain domain.

Previously, this was possible with Google Alerts, by filtering with the site:mydomain.com operator, as is possible in regular Google searches. This is function is no longer supported.

Are there any good alternatives to Google Alerts?

I've done the basic googling, but didn't really find anything. Yahoo! Pipes seems too complicated.

Need to explain at least how the current Google Alerts are not up to snuff – Eight Days of Malaise Sep 4 '11 at 20:26
