Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Many people at my company, including me, are diehard users of OmniOutliner, and find outlining to be incredibly useful in many scenarios. Unfortunately cross-platform collaboration is difficult with OmniOutliner; in fact even single-platform collaboration isn't easy, since it's file-based.

We love Google Docs in general, because of its excellent collaboration abilities, but its outlining support is weak, annoying, and frustrating.

I hope there are some good options out there!

What features do you need? –  Aaron Jul 7 '10 at 22:46

I don't think I need anything too special. Basically, the ability to easily create and edit and outline, and share it. Preferably the sharing is in the form of collaborative editing with a revision history; even better would be realtime collaborative editing, a la Etherpad. –  Avi Flax Jul 7 '10 at 23:12

Try thinklinkr. A "fully collaborative outliner."
