Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I usually go to google.com/reader/play directly instead of going into google.com/reader to see my feeds. However, seems that it gets content from sites I haven't subscribed. I know that based on my selection, it tries to help me by getting similar contents from other sites, but I don't want it to do that.

How can I tell Google Reader Play to only show the items I've subscribed? I know about this question, but it always needs you to go to google.com/reader and select a folder to be shown in Play. So, please don't mark this question as duplicate. I just want to know if things has changed since 2010 (when that question is asked)? Can we now directly surf to google.com/reader/play and expect it to show subscribed items only?
