Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for a tool for idea management, but the apps from the Omnitools or workflowy don't suffice. I need something that lets me arrange ideas (in the form of graphics, entered text, or drawings) on a canvas and tag them. I would also like an alternative view, for example by tag or entry or so, so I can go through them in linear order.

Is anyone aware of such a tool? I'm not sure what to look for but there has to be something like that.

If you have an ipad there is an app called moodboard that works well. – user14622 Nov 6 '11 at 11:45

I just tried it, but I wasn't able to move around the boards however I wished, they seemed to stick to predefined locations. I couldn't paste in images either. – Walter Nov 7 '11 at 8:17
Sorry, I misunderstood your requirement. (you can upload images to todo card in trello as attachments, btw) – number5 Nov 8 '11 at 0:08
