Hide Comments by Default on SoundCloud

Question

Is there a way I can hide comments by default on SoundCloud?

I saw the plugin for Chrome but I don't always use Chrome. Is there a better solution than that?

Here's an updated tampermonkey/greasemonkey script I made, as other answers are now outdated from soundcloud's redesign:

No there is no better solution currently than using a plugin or manually clicking the disable comments button.

The answer/script by phwd works well also, but you can short-hand it with:

$('.player').addClass('no-comments');

I tested in Chrome and Firefox (using the console).
