I have received email from an external person addressed to
firstname.lastname@example.org instead of
email@example.com. (& is a valid character in email addresses.)
It is caught in the catchall and I would like to add it as an alias/nickname of
firstname.lastname@example.org but it isn't allowed.
I'm thinking of putting a forwarding rule in the catchall, but this requires the user to click and approve.
Are there any other options?
For instance, the
email@example.com routes to
firstname.lastname@example.org automatically, but this doesn't seem to do that since both
email@example.com already route to
firstname.lastname@example.org as nicknames/aliases.
