I have received email from an external person addressed to
email@example.com instead of
firstname.lastname@example.org. (& is a valid character in email addresses.)
It is caught in the catchall and I would like to add it as an alias/nickname of
email@example.com but it isn't allowed.
I'm thinking of putting a forwarding rule in the catchall, but this requires the user to click and approve.
Are there any other options?
For instance, the
firstname.lastname@example.org routes to
email@example.com automatically, but this doesn't seem to do that since both
firstname.lastname@example.org already route to
email@example.com as nicknames/aliases.
