How can I measure the distance between two points in Google Maps? I just can't find any solution for it!

I'd suggest using Google Earth instead. – Hand-E-Food Dec 21 '11 at 4:22

There's a distance measurement tool present in Google Maps Labs. To enable this, click on Google Maps settings ( the Gear Icon) & select Google Maps Labs (or just go to the labs page directly). Enable distance measurement tool

Maps Measurement

Once this is done, you'll see a ruler on the bottom left corner of the map, click on it to enable Distance measurement mode & then click on Start & End points.

You can enable the Distance Measurement Tool from the Labs section of Google Maps.

If you mean straight-line distance, then start to create a custom map and draw a line on it. Note the length that the line is (it's shown in the line dialog box) - then abandon your custom map without saving.

This is great, as it is a built-in tool in Maps. You can measure the distance of any custom path you create, not only just a straight line. – jcisio Dec 27 '11 at 6:38
