Before a recent update to Google Reader, you could get an RSS feed of your starred items after making the "starred items" tag public. Now, public/private settings are not available on the tags screen in Google Reader.

Is there any way I can get a feed of my starred items?

Or should I give up and just bookmark things in Instapaper or Delicious instead?

This may or may not help you, but the site If This Than That can pull from your Starred Items in Reader and then add them to ReadItLater, Instapaper, or many other sites.

It's not perfect, but google reader to delicious will work for me. I already subscribe to my own delicious rss feed. – Benzo Jan 24 '12 at 19:43

The RSS feeds are now available again in the Google Reader Settings "Folders and Tags" tab.
