How do I link a cell in Google Spreadsheets to a cell in another document?

I'd like to know now: is it possible to link a cell in Google Spreadsheets to a Google text document (i.e., another Google document like word, not spreadsheets)? How to do that?

I'd like to use the values in cells to fill in forms and contracts have text in Google Docs.

First go to the document you want to link to and copy the URL. Then add it into the HYPERLINK function in a spreadsheet, should look something like:

=HYPERLINK("https://docs.google.com/document/d/238urwfuafhki8w4n8fddwaso45dxw445f/edit","my google document")

Don't forget the surrounding quotes.
