Does anybody know of a web service that lets me import my email address book to find my friends on social networks such as Twitter, Flickr and Pinterest?

Thanks.

Twitter has a built-in feature that let's you import your contacts. See the support page.

  1. Login to Twitter
  2. Click on #Discover from the upper-left corner (1 in the screenshot below)
  3. Click on Find friends from the left-side column (2 in the screenshot below)

The direct link is: https://twitter.com/#!/who_to_follow/import

So does Flickr. See here: http://www.flickr.com/import/people/

According to this blog post, Pinterest has this feature as well. (But I'm not a member, so I can't say for sure.)

Q: How do I find and follow others boards. There are a couple ways to do this as well. You can go to the top right menu bar and choose [People -> Find Friends] and find friends via Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo or Gmail.

Facebook has this feature as well. See here: https://www.facebook.com/?sk=ff

Can please post a link to Twitters import feature? I just can't find it on the "new Twitter". –  Tom Feb 15 '12 at 13:57

I know that LinkedIn, Google+, and Twitter will ask for access to your address book to find people. They may require you to register first.
