I am trying to integrate a web site with a Google Apps account. To avoid frequent polling, I'd like Google to notify the site when a new email has arrived.

Is there a way to make Google load a certain URL when new mail arrives?

As dnbrv noted, it involves a bit more than light coding which is off-topic here. In order for you to best get the information you need, please update your question with API methods you have looked at and any strategies you have tried.
