Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am trying to integrate a web site with a Google Apps account. To avoid frequent polling, I'd like Google to notify the site when a new email has arrived.

Is there a way to make Google load a certain URL when new mail arrives?

This is a question about Google API and should be asked on StackOverflow. I've submitted a migration request already. – dnbrv Mar 22 '12 at 2:53

As dnbrv noted, it involves a bit more than light coding which is off-topic here. In order for you to best get the information you need, please update your question with API methods you have looked at and any strategies you have tried. I'm closing this question for now and you can either 1) update the question, flag for moderator attention 2) consult Stack Overflow to see what info is readily available there such as Trigger PHP Script on New Email (Google Apps / Gmail) – phwd Mar 22 '12 at 4:22
