Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I just noticed this morning that my Facebook bold fonts look funny and are not rendered properly like the lines aren't fine (I don't have a screenshot right now, it's on my other PC). I checked if it only occurs with Facebook, but it appears it happens to other sites using the same font like KeepVid.

This problem doesn't occur with IE and Firefox. I also tried reinstalling Chrome to no avail. I'm thinking that font might be fetched somewhere by chrome locally in my PC. Has anybody experienced this same problem?

I have the same issue on tumblr and livejournal. The bolded font looks weird. – user18706 Apr 3 '12 at 11:04

Given the confirmation of a problem on other sites and the fact it only affects Chrome this sounds like a problem with Chrome rather than Facebook. As such it is off topic for this site. – ChrisF Apr 3 '12 at 11:07
where do we post problems with browsers? :D – Owen Apr 3 '12 at 11:20
That would be Super User. However, given the frequency with which Google updates Chrome this question would very quickly become too localised (in the time sense) – ChrisF Apr 3 '12 at 11:21

While it would be on topic for Super User, I've checked and have been told it would be closed as "too localised". – ChrisF Apr 3 '12 at 11:29
