Using RealChat (http://www.realchat.com/) which uses I think java/jsp. Its integrated with my vbulletin forum (3.8x).
problem: the realchat's word filter is useless.
I have the censored words like this (pardon them, but I have to paste them as is to make my support clear)
fuck, shit, cock, cunt, pussy, http, fucking, asshole
However, it is not literal in its usage. For example, if a user types the word "luck", it'll be censored because of the "uck" in the "f" word above. I've contacted the developers so many times to no avail, no help whatsoever.
Do you think there is some trick I can do to get this properly working literally as inputted in the filter?
The feature help says this
A comma-separated list of prohibited words. The filter replaces each word from the list with a mask like this: ---.
Filtering is processed on the client side, so the original content is still logged on the server side. Regular expressions are allowed.
