Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have integrated a HTML5 FB Like button on my website, when clicking 'Like' it creates a new FB Page that I can administer. Naturally I just 'personally' want to 'Like' the page and not create a new page every time I click the FB Like button on my website pages.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have linked the page to a basic APP (under my account) just for the APPID.

Highly frustrating to just 'Like' the page and not create a new FB Page.

Link will not work shortly as I have decided to move away from the APPID HTML5 version and implement iFrame based. Still annoying you cant have the HTML5/XFBML version with out it not creating a FB Page if your the admin of the APP/Page. –  Travis May 17 '12 at 14:28

No, that's not how the like button works. It doesn't create a new Facebook page. Could you please clarify what you mean? –  phwd May 17 '12 at 14:37
