Is there any webapp/website where we can write our personal diary and have an offline sync?

Even if there is no such website, can someone please suggest me some website to write my own personal diary which has good security features and other features?

"please suggest to me some" is not the kind of questions we want here. Please read the FAQ. – Al Everett May 24 '12 at 13:17

Evernote might be a good match for your needs.

There are some sites out there for keeping your personal journal, but what they miss (I think all of them) is the ability to "sync" your data with your computer. And I put "sync" in quotes because it depends what you mean by sync.

Do you mean just keep copies of your articles in pdf electronically? Or keep it in a way that you can read them if tomorow the site dies?

Also what do you need to be able to keep? Just text? Or links, photos, videos etc?

One of the good ones is Penzu.

Also see OhLife.
