How can I set up my Twitter avatar icon to show a countdown image? I mean, the Twitter icon is generally static, but it could be fun if it changed daily, like counting down automatically.

I can't find out how if this is possible.

I don't know of an app that automatically does this, but it should be pretty easy to setup an API based app that updates your avatar for you based on what day it is using the Update Profile Image REST API – Dez May 29 '12 at 19:19
