Is it possible to change to Open/Closed status of a Facebook Group once it has more than 200 members?

I'm told that once a group goes over 200 members it is then locked in the Open or Closed status that it was at when that milestone has been reached. I have the need to change a group to Closed status but it has well over 200 members and I can no longer see the status toggle.
