Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I created a couple of posts and I was thinking I would get replies pretty fast, but when I didn't, I decided to email myself using multiple gmail address using chrome and firefox. It didn't work! Then I tried yahoo, email went through. Then I tried ie and gmail, and it still went through. Then I tried again using firefox and gmail, and it worked. It seems very random, except it never works when I just click on the email-link and firefox and chrome very nicely fill-up to: and body:.

If I just copy-paste the email address, it's a hit-and-miss with gmail.

Anybody got any insight?

I created the ad with gmail, but I used different gmail accounts to reply.

You did check your junk folder didn't you? – Ladadadada Jun 18 '12 at 9:14
@Ladadadada Yes, of course :) – TPR Jun 18 '12 at 9:24
Did you checked the content what you have copied? You might have copied entire content including the link location and the text of the link. Try to paste the copied in Notepad, and check the address – user21237 Jun 18 '12 at 14:22
lol no, but just to be sure, I did copy-paste it to notepad this time. – TPR Jun 18 '12 at 15:14
