Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am using a plugin product for wordpress (Cimy Swift SMTP) that allows me to use your mail server smtp.gmail.com and my email address example@gmail.com to facilitate mail on my word press site example.com. An excellent app that was working perfectly until I got your notice in the title above. The notice seems to indicate I can allow the site to actually use your/my info with out getting a new notice by going here:

"If this was you, and you want to give this application access to your account, complete the troubleshooting steps listed at http://support.google.com/mail?p=client_login"

but there is nothing I can see there to facilitate this. this is the site that was blocked and that I want unblocked Tuesday, July 3, 2012 4:36:14 AM GMT IP Address: 204.93.183.35 (scnet.net) Location: Creve Coeur, MO, USA strong text

Also and it could be unrelated but is even more frustrating for some reason now my password for example@gmail.com says it has changed and when I try to send the reset mail to example@hotmail.com it never shows up and I have tried dozens of times
