I'm using Chrome 20.0.1132.57 m and always have one tab open with Gmail. I also have the Tasks window open. When typing within the tasks window, the 'p' character never shows up. I'm able to write the letter 'p' in an email or in a chat but for some reason it's not working in the tasks window. I'm thinking it could be something in my Gmail settings or labs but haven't been able to find it. Any suggestions?

May be you should try clearing your chache memory, using some other browser, reinstalling crome and try again. – user221287 Jul 14 '12 at 5:11
It doesn't have to do with the installation because the same thing happens whether I'm on my Windows 7 desktop machine or on my MacBook Pro – Jason Jul 16 '12 at 13:45

The current version of Chrome is 43. Do you still have this problem? – Rubén Jun 8 '15 at 3:33
