I have a Live ID acc, and while trying to create public account on connect.microsoft.com, I got message that my display name is taken. I have tried to input "aikixd", which is a worldwide unique username. I have also tried to search my username on MS sites, but no luck. What can be the problem?

Your "worldwide unique username" looks like a random set of characters that a spam-bot could register. – dnbrv Jul 19 '12 at 13:03

so what? any one can register, no where on search result does not mean no one would have registered on live with that username. – Random Guy Jul 19 '12 at 18:33
