Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

On a facebook page you can batch invite people to like your page:

Edit Page" --> "Marketing" --> "Tell your fans"

You can then either upload a contact file (csv) or grant FB access to your web email contacts (ea google).

This is not the same as inviting your FB profile friends. Its purpose is to invite your business contacts, clients, whom you have been emailing with, or who had subscribed to your email newsletter in the past. Limited to 5000 invites.

Is the limitation ever reset after a certain amount of time?

This contact data contains both first and lastnames, and email addresses. Does FB only searches for email addresses conected to profiles? And never for names? So if clients don't have their business email connected to their profile (very likely) you are out of luck?

What happens when a match is found? Does that person get a message in his FB message center, and no actual email asking him to like my page? And if no match is found, is an email sent to the address? FB never sents a request to like my personal profile and become fan of my page at the same time, or one after the other?
