I sent an email from Gmail and now I can't find it. Got the your message was sent message. The email was sent to another Gmail recipient. Sometimes I have to log out of Gmail and then log back in, because it gives me an error. Is there any way to retrieve the sent message? Has anyone experienced this?

You checked in Sent Mail and it’s not there? You don’t have some strange filter that moves emails (sent to certain recipients) to trash, right? – Alex Aug 30 '12 at 13:45
Also, for the errors issue, it might help logging out and clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. – Alex Aug 30 '12 at 13:49
Make sure you know in which thread to look also... – Steven Roose Aug 30 '12 at 20:46
Did you try searching for the message? – Al Everett Dec 21 '12 at 16:35

Make sure your SENT Mail folder is visible.

In Gmail Settings | Labels | Look in the SYSTEM list, and click "show" for the Sent Mail folder.
