My husband has a Google AdSense account connected to his YouTube account. When I tried to set up my own account I received an email stating my AdSense account was disapproved. Any advice?

Typically the Adsense rejection email will tell you what specific reasons there were for the rejection, correcting those problems and reapplying is your best bet.

There is some general advice for getting approved here, along with the specific criteria you need to meet here.

  1. your submitted url should be a own website not a blogs related free service
  2. all register details should be original
  3. no other PPC ads should not be displayed
  4. must have more content and it is not ready for adsense purpose only

Not totally correct: you can get an AdSense account if you only have a free blogging account - if you have unique content. – MaryC.fromNZ Sep 24 '12 at 16:11

AdSense currently decline appliations that have the same address as an existing account.

Can you reapply, using a different reliable postal address - eg a friend or relative who won't want their own account?

(I'm surprised that they get away with it - where I come from, it could be considered to be discrimination on the basis of family status. But they do.)
