I signed into Gmail while traveling, and Google blocked it as suspicious. I am now back at my residence.

Whenever I log into Youtube or a Google service, I see this banner: Banner

When I click the link, I see this screen: Warning

As you can see, I have already told Google I recognized the activity. So why am I still being warned about it 19 days later?

Did you try clicking on GMail -> Details (At bottom right of screen) -> Sign out all other sessions. After that reset your password and account recovery details. The warning must disappear upon that.

Consider this:

Your account is compromised and I know your password. I sign into your account from a different location. I come to know of the security warning Google is now showing up in your account because of this. So, I then use a proxy server and log on to your account again, and set it to "Okay". I am not changing the password because then you would come to know that your account is compromised. I want that you keep using your account without a clue, and now and then, I will keep logging to your account to extract all the information I need.

It is just a security measure, for your own good.

It eventually went away on its own a few days later.
