How do I increase the width in a Blogger post, for a fragment of text? The default width for paragraphs should remain the same - the size of page in my Blogger template.

I need to do this in order to arrange pictures horizontally not vertically.

I'm not sure I understand. You want to increase the width for text content? Or to accommodate horizontally displayed images? In either case, if you do this, I think it will cause this single post to stick out beyond the post area in your blog i.e. if you have a sidebar, it will extend into that area.
