I like to keep links to my various laptop support pages in my wiki. Dell makes it easy if you know the service tag.

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/details?ServiceTag={Your Service Tag}

Are there any equivalent urls for HP, IBM, etc where you can just plug in your service tag equivalent and get a page with links to drivers and what not.

Sounds like a good question for serverfault.com – spoulson Jul 14 '10 at 12:33
@spoulson: why? – akira Jul 14 '10 at 12:41
I don't know about Server Fault, but I'd say it's a bit off topic for here. – Al E. Jul 14 '10 at 13:17
the tagline of "webapps" is "everything i type into my browser"... serverfault is about how to maintain servers. this question is much more offtopic for serverfault than it is for webapps, imho. – akira Jul 14 '10 at 13:33
@akira add it as an faq-proposed question in meta – phwd Jul 14 '10 at 14:26

Here is Apple's Equivalent

I do not own anything from HP or IBM so this list will slowly have to grow.
