In Trello home page with all the design examples, the one contributed by Marnix K shows you are able to insert a row of icons on a card. Each card has different sets of icons. I couldn't find out how to do that!

I'm not sure what you mean, but there are 2 ways of displaying "icons".

  1. You can attach multiple images to a card as attachments, but only display a single image as the card "cover" (visible at all times from the board).

  2. If you're referring to the icons in the bottom right of the cards, these are the Members who are assigned to that card.
