In the Outlook component of Microsoft Office 365, when viewing a mailbox, conversations are shown collapsed by default. Clicking on the ▷ right-pointing arrowhead to the left of the subject of a mail expands the list of mails in the conversations, but moving away from that conversation collapses it back. The “Conversation” checkbox in the sort menu is ticked.

I want conversations to be in expanded form by default, and I want that to be the case for all conversations, not just the one under cursor. How can I always show all conversations in expanded form?

This Microsoft support thread suggests that this is not possible. I'm open to a solution that involves a userscript, but I'd prefer something that works in both IE 8 and Chrome (and ideally Firefox too).
