Now that dropbox dropped public folder support for new users, is there a service that has the same functionality?

I want to be able to share files directly without wrapper page. Those are not wget friendly.

Edit:

In case you don't know, public folders in Dropbox worked in a way that allowed me to give links to anybody for direct file download. That means I could have embedded an image link into HTML tag and it would download the image directly.

Google Drive has public folders as well: public folders
