Normally, we just find a nearby coffeeshop and jump in without knowing which type of coffee and its quality. I really want to find a service which I can find a good place to enjoy good coffee and know what it is. Do you guys have any suggestion or well known web application in this area ?

The only one I know is yelp but it doesn't really meet my requirement since it's just more about telling the coffee shop.

@JacobJanTuinstra you can post your comment as an answer, so I can vote ;) – nXqd Jan 5 '13 at 18:13

You can try zagat.com for that. There you can pick the location and find all kinds of shops (restaurant, coffee shp etc.)

If you are interested in mainly the coffee, Beanhunter is focussed around rating that. Like all these sites, how useful it is depends on the number of people doing reviews in the area your interested in.
