I'm using the Trello app v0.9.0.5 for Microsoft Surface.I log in with my Google account.

I see 'please confirm your email address' and a blank avatar icon. I'm seeing intermittant sync issues with my boards.

I'm not having these troubles with the web app or with the Android app. Are these known issues? Any workarounds available?

Love the Windows RT app by the way. On my Nexus 7, Trello is kind-of useful but I mostly use it for reference. On Windows RT, it's a beautiful experience that feels like it's going to become by 'go to' mobile Trello device.
