Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I found out that in Chrome, by going to "recently closed" and opening a recently closed tab, Chrome remembers the last location (scroll position).

I was looking for an extension (see Is there a bookmarklet or extension that allows you to save where you left off in a website (save scroll position))

However I was wondering perhaps this feature is already supported in Chrome directly, e.g. I wonder if there there is a flag or setting (or a feature request that I can vote for) that also saves scroll position for tabs under "other devices" or better - automatically saves latest scroll position for all long pages.

To illustrate what I mean: scroll position is saved for "recently closed" but doesn't seem to work as well for tabs in "other devices", I wonder if there is a way to enable it?
