at work, we use FreeAgent and we love it. I would like something similar but for my personal accounting only. I could use FreeAgent too but I don't need invoicing, etc.

In particular, I need:

  1. Bills recording and tracking;
  2. Manually entering my bank statement line by line. I am in Switzerland so impossible to automatically connect to my bank account;
  3. Categories, etc

Any suggestions?

Would mobile apps do? Then look for Toshl or MoneyOwl. – Bibhas Mar 16 '13 at 15:15
Hi, I prefer web app. Can Toshl integrate bank statement? – Korchkidu Mar 16 '13 at 16:17
Quicken's web app is now Mint, so not Quicken. – Christopher Harwood Apr 22 '13 at 14:30
Yes, indeed. Thanks! – Korchkidu Apr 22 '13 at 15:29

try Pibi https://www.pibiapp.com/ , its HTML5 and works on the desktop, tablets and mobile phone, you can also customize the categories and enter everything by hand.

Does it also have all the features referenced in the question? – batpigandme Jun 25 '13 at 9:19
It seems like it. It supports bills (they call it 'recurrings'), manual entries, and categories. – amireh Jul 6 '13 at 0:55

Have you tried using Quicken?

Its made by Intuit, similar features as Quickbooks but without all the Invoicing. Its made for personal finance, bill management and multiple account reconciliations.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I was ready to buy it but unfortunately, it is not available in Switzerland. PS: I am not the downvoter^^ – Korchkidu Apr 25 '13 at 11:23
