Online service for downloading websites

Question

Is there any (free) online service that can download a website, compress it, and give us a link to download the compressed website? Don't need to have lots of features for filtering data, just the basics, like include or not images, audio files, etc.

I live in Brazil, and at moment, I use a connection that its max speed is around 50kbps/s (its known as "internet pré-paga").

Sometimes I've to consult technical documentation on the web that is only accessible online, but my internet is not good and I NEED it offline too.

I've searched for it on search engines, nothing, nothing, I'm not expecting a good answer, but I appreciate your help.

Don't know about any webservice that does this, and maybe that's because of the obvious reasons such as copyright and all. Still, if you want to do it, and have the proper access to all the data of that website, then you can try this little command in any linux shell -

wget -mkp -e robots=off http://example.com/

This command will actually create a mirror copy of the website(only the static HTML part, not any server-side code) on the local machine. Then you can move it around and access it via the local server.

I don't have a Windows PC so can't test, but wget has a Windows port. I think you can do the same on Windows too with that.

Why do you need an online service? Could you use a took like HTTrack, which is a "free (libre/open source) and easy-to-use offline browser utility."
