For word processing, Google Docs revision history is great.

However, for some of my spreadsheets, something isn't working right:

  • Revisions are not grouped together, multiple for each minute.
  • "Show detailed revisions" toggle does nothing.

Happens to both my revisions, and those by my collaborator:

When I create a new a spreadsheet document, the toggle works just fine.

Can I fix this existing spreadsheet without copying and losing past revision history?
